As a news executive at CBS for more than 25 years, Briganti was responsible for the strategic development of new programming for the news division, supervising the work of more than 100 employees. He worked closely on the marketing and advertising of CBS News programs. He also played a key role with the law department on issues of crisis management, libel and ethics review.
